Support for students taking Cambridge International IGCSE English as a Second Langage. This one-hour online interactive session covers the characteristics of and then writing and reviewing summaries.
Prior to the session, three authentic tasks will be sent for preparation; each should take 20 minutes to complete and during the session, we will review at least two, if not all three, in terms of what should be done to achive success according to Cambridge expectations. We will also cover :
- task analysis
- strategies
- marking and markscheme
- maximising your score
