GCSE / IGCSE Poetry "A Poison Tree" by William Blake

 

One of the works everyone should know, and frequently included in GCSE and IGCSE Literature text lists.

Support for students in, entering or considering a GCSE or IGCSE English Language and/or English Literature programme.

Support for students in schools which do not offer a GCSE or IGCSE English and/or English Literature programme, or where likely results will not meet student's needs.

Support for self-study students or self-prepared candidates.

One-hour online sessions (on an as-needed or ongoing basis) via video conferencing targetted at the student's specific needs and realities.

  • A = Knowledge and Understanding of the work
  • B = Response to and Analysis of the work
  • C = Evaluation activities typical of examinations

The tutor has successfully prepared students for three different GCSE Boards plus Cambridge's IGCSE, has led teacher-training programmes and guided English departments on GCSE-preparation programme design and implementation. He has a Masters from Oxford (Educational Management), a DELTA from Cambridge (English Language teaching) and a Diploma in Teaching (Secondary English Language, Literature and Mathematics).
