Australian Year Seven (Grade 6) Language about Language and Literature

English as a school-subject in English-speaking countries is generally a combination of studies of English Language, Use of English and English Literature, and it has its own vocabulary.

This vocabulary acquisition and development session is built around the required technical language of Australia's Queensland Year 7 English programme, and is similar to the contents of other countries' Year 7 / Grade 6 programmes. Subsequent sessions include the application and implementation of these essential terms and concepts to English Language, Use of English and English Literature texts and contexts.

What's with homework?

Homework in and of itself is not a bad thing. So why do so many people, including some teachers, see it so negatively?

When should you be concerned about your child(ren)'s academic performance?

This question has two answers : it depends and horses for courses. In general terms, every child is different; teaching & learning and evaluation must be developmentally-appropriate; and needs and realities vary.
